The offering

What we actually deliver

Physical-to-cloud programs stall when nobody has a trustworthy inventory of servers, storage arrays, network appliances, and the applications that still depend on them. We start with discovery: serial numbers, firmware, OS builds, SAN mappings, backup jobs, and the people who still know why a box exists. That inventory becomes a migration wave plan — which hosts can rehost as-is, which should be rebuilt as virtual machines or containers, and which should be retired instead of paying to lift them.

Audmins designs the target landing zone first so the first wave does not land in an ungoverned account. We map compute, storage performance, licensing, and identity so physical hosts do not simply become oversized VMs. For appliances that cannot be virtualized, we document a replacement path — managed database, load balancer, or vendor SaaS — rather than pretending every rack unit has a cloud twin.

Cutover is treated as an operations event, not a surprise. We write runbooks for backup freeze, data sync, DNS, firewall, and rollback. Where downtime windows are tight we use block-level replication or staged sync so the final switch is measured in minutes. After go-live we stay on the call for hypercare: performance baselines, cost anomalies, and leftover on-prem decommission so you are not paying for two estates.

The result is a physical datacenter exit that finance, security, and application owners can follow. You get sequenced waves, named owners, and evidence that each host either landed cleanly or was explicitly retired.

What you get

Hardware inventory mapped to a cloud wave plan with retire-versus-move decisions
Rightsized compute and storage instead of one-for-one oversized VMs
Rehearsed cutover and rollback runbooks with named go/no-go owners
Hypercare and decommission checklist so dual-running costs do not linger

How we work

A delivery path you can follow

Each engagement is sequenced so architecture, cutover, and handover are visible — not a black box at the end.

  1. 01

    Discover the estate
Agents, CMDB exports, and interviews produce a host-level inventory including dependencies and backup windows.
  2. 02

    Design the landing zone
Accounts, networks, identity, and backup land before the first physical host is converted.
  3. 03

    Pilot a representative wave
A non-critical cluster proves tooling, replication, and rollback before production weekends.
  4. 04

    Cut over and decommission
Production waves follow the runbook; racks are powered down only after the new estate is verified.
