Observability & SRE
Metrics, logs, traces, and on-call practice that tell you what broke — and a response path that does not depend on one hero.

What we actually deliver
Observability that is only a dashboard wallpaper does not reduce incidents. We instrument the estate for the questions you actually ask during an outage: is it the app, the database, the network, or the deploy? Metrics, logs, and traces are correlated with change events so the first thirty minutes are not a guess. We pick tools you can staff — often a mix of cloud-native and one telemetry backend — rather than a four-vendor pile.
SRE practice is the other half. Error budgets, severity definitions, on-call rotas, and post-incident reviews are written to match your coverage hours. We do not install a 24×7 pager culture you cannot hire for. We do install runbooks that a second engineer can follow, and we kill noisy alerts that train people to ignore the board.
SLIs are chosen with product owners: latency, availability, and freshness for the journeys that matter. Vanity CPU graphs are demoted. Capacity and cost signals sit next to reliability so you do not 'fix' an incident by infinite scale.
The engagement can be a build (stack, alerts, runbooks) or a build-plus-operate where we sit in the rota under a support contract. Either way you get fewer, better alerts and a written path from page to fix.

Each engagement is sequenced so architecture, cutover, and handover are visible — not a black box at the end.
