Platform Engineering & Developer Experience
Golden paths, templates, and self-service so product teams can get an environment without opening a week-long ticket.

What we actually deliver
Platform engineering is an internal product: the path from 'I have a repo' to 'it runs in staging with identity, logs, and a pipeline'. We treat developers as customers. Discovery is about the tickets they open today — new service, new environment, secrets, DNS, access. The platform is the smallest set of templates and services that removes those tickets without hiding the cloud from people who must debug it.
Golden paths cover the languages you actually use. A service template includes CI, IaC module, observability defaults, and a README. Self-service is vending or a portal only if the volume justifies it; sometimes a well-documented repo and a pipeline are enough. We measure time-to-first-deploy and ticket volume, not the number of CNCF tools installed.
The platform team gets an operating model: how to version templates, how to deprecate, how to support. Product teams get an escape hatch for the 10% of cases the path does not fit, so they do not fork in the dark.
You get fewer 'please provision this' tickets, a documented path for a new service, and a platform backlog driven by developer pain. DX is not snacks and stickers. It is time back. Templates are versioned, deprecations have a date, and the 10% of workloads that cannot follow the golden path have a documented exception so they do not fork the platform in private repositories.
