Cost Optimization & FinOps

Visibility, allocation, and rightsizing so cloud spend has owners — not a monthly surprise and a spreadsheet of unused reserved instances.

The offering

What we actually deliver

FinOps is ownership, not a one-off discount coupon. We make spend visible by team, environment, and product using native billing, tags, and allocation that matches how you already organise. Untagged or shared costs are named so they stop being a slush fund. Budgets and anomaly alerts go to people who can change the resources, not only to finance.

Rightsizing, idle cleanup, storage lifecycle, and commitment purchases are executed with engineering, because finance cannot turn off a zombie cluster safely. We look at architecture choices that dominate the bill — chatty NAT, over-replicated logs, always-on non-prod — and fix those before arguing over a 5% RI cover.

A cadence is the product: a monthly review, a backlog of cost stories, and guardrails (quotas, shutdown schedules) that prevent the same leak. We will not promise a magic percentage. We will show the before/after on the accounts we touched.

You get allocation that matches the org chart, a list of executed savings, and a way to keep going. Cloud bills become a managed input, not a quarterly shock. Commitment purchases are recommended only after usage is stable enough to defend, and non-prod shutdown schedules are implemented with the teams who would otherwise leave staging on all weekend.

What you get

Allocation by team, environment, and product you can defend
Budgets and anomaly alerts on the people who own the resources
Executed rightsizing and idle cleanup, not only a report
A monthly FinOps cadence and a living savings backlog

How we work

A delivery path you can follow

Each engagement is sequenced so architecture, cutover, and handover are visible — not a black box at the end.

  1. 01

    See the bill
Native cost tools, tags, and shared-cost rules are made truthful.
  2. 02

    Find the leaks
Idle, oversized, NAT, and log-heavy patterns are ranked by impact.
  3. 03

    Change with engineering
Rightsizing and shutdowns land as changes with owners, not finance tickets.
  4. 04

    Cadence
Budgets, reviews, and guardrails keep the next quarter from repeating the last.
