What we actually deliver
Custom business applications are for processes that SaaS almost fits but not quite: dealer portals, allocation engines, field operations, partner onboarding. We write down the domain — entities, states, who may do what — before picking a UI. The application is a product with environments, roles, audit where money or access is involved, and a backup story.
We avoid rebuilding ERP. Integrations to the system of record are explicit. Where a workflow engine or rules table will save a release, we use it. Where the rules are the product, they live in code with tests. Either way a second engineer can find them.
Delivery is iterative: a first vertical slice in production or a production-like environment, then modules. We do not spend six months on a platform that has never served a real user. Data migration from the previous tool is planned, not hoped.
You own the repo, the cloud account, and the data. We can run the app under maintenance, or your team can. The application should still make sense if Audmins is not in the room. Roles, audit events, and the integration contracts are documented so a new engineer can add a field without rediscovering tribal rules from a spreadsheet that the last vendor left behind.
